Our Commitment to Social Responsibility

At McGraw Hill, our vision is to unlock the full potential of each learner. We also give the best of ourselves – within the communities in which we live and work, through our environmentally responsible business practices and in our unwavering commitment to transparency and integrity in all we do. Working together, we are helping to create a brighter future for learners around the world.

At McGraw Hill, we're committed to supporting education in the communities we serve through staff volunteerism and financial support.  McGraw Hill's Red Cube Cares supports and celebrates employee giving around the world.

Our Red Cube Cares Working Group – made up of local office representatives – collaborates on global volunteer and fundraising events and McGraw Hill's Red Cube Cares Matching Gift program is a global program that encourages employee giving by providing additional funding to qualifying nonprofit organizations where our employees have made personal donations. As part of our Red Cube Cares efforts in 2022, we:

Contributed 690 hours of volunteering during
our annual Global Volunteer Week
in May 2022

Donated over $300,000 of new books in 2022

Sustainability

Since 2013, McGraw Hill has reduced its carbon footprint by decreasing its square footage by nearly 2.5 million square feet, implementing energy-saving technology and avoiding landfills by participating in private and municipal recycling programs. Several of our offices are LEED certified or leased within LEED certified buildings and exemplify our long-term commitment to smart environmental construction and real estate management.

Integrity

McGraw Hill and its employees are committed to integrity, honesty, and good faith in all of our dealings. We maintain a Code of Business Ethics (COBE) on which all employees receive training each year. Each employee is required to acknowledge and agree to abide by the COBE annually as a condition of employment.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
